Alleged kidnapping kingpin - Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike(Evans) is seeking for the release of 25 Mack trucks which he claimed was seized from him therefore he has gone ahead to file for a fresh suit against the police over the case. Amongst the 25 trucks,here are some of the trucks number plates: BDG 78 XT; GGE 491XU; FST742XT; AGL219XT;BDG79XT; AGL222XT; GGE492XU; AGL220XT and GGE489XU. Evans lawyer,Olukoya Ogungbeje,is hereby dragging in the suit that the said trucks which were forcefully seized from Evans on June 15, 2017 were seized without a court order and it is a violation of Evans' right therefore Olukoya is pleading the Federal High Court in Lagos to give an order to the police to release the trucks to Evans through him(Lawyer).

President Muhammadu Buhari is in a closed - door meeting with six states governors at the state house. The meeting kicked off immediately after the president met with the Security Chiefs on Security briefings which lasted several hours and was also under closed doors because the Security Chiefs normally meets on Monday to brief the President on security issues. So it is surprising that such meeting is held today which is 'Thursday'. Though,there haven't been information yet if the meeting was for the political development in the country or if it was an emergency. The six governors holding the closed door meeting with the President are: Udom Emmanuel - Akwa Ibom State(PDP); Dave Umahi - Ebonyi State(PDP); Aminu Bello Masari - Katsina State(APC); Simeon Lalong - Plateau State(APC); Abdulaziz Yari - Kebbi State(APC); Atiku Bagudu - Kebbi State(APC).

The Kaduna State Government has placed a temporal ban on ' Child Adoption And Fostering' in the state. The temporal ban has been as a result of the increase of abuse by the orphanage homes across the state. In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria(NAN) on Thursday in Kaduna; Hajiya Hafsat Baba, the Commissioner for Woman Affairs and Social Development disclosed that the step was necessary because the government had discovered that some of the orphanage homes were been used for child abuse and trafficking. Baba went further to disclose that the ban remained in force until the state government sanitizes the system of child fostering and adoption.  She further said: "When we came on board,we found out that people just turn their houses into orphanages and get these children but won't give them out for fostering or adoption. Rather ,they use them as a business to get donations and that is what they capitalise on to feed their own children". "

President Muhammad Buhari has hereby spoken in respect of the release of the 2019 election timetable and schedule of activities by the Independent National Electoral Commission - INEC. The President spoke in Abuja while delivering a keynote address at the 15th Daily Trust Dialogue. President Buhari made it a point of reminder to the politicians and other stakeholders that by the delivery of the timetable by INEC, the 2019 general election was fast approaching; hereby warning personnel  in the political space against a resort to violence in an attempt to influence electoral support.
