Household experts has stated that hand bags has been listed as one of the worst places for germs which could make you sick.
According to new guide by the domestic gurus of the Good Housekeeping institute,there are eight germ hotspots in a typical households that accomodatesmore germs than the average toilet including toothbrushes,remote controls and bathroom towels.
The report has stated that though toilets, kitchen work surfaces and other notorious 'dirty' areas get cleaned regularly but the hand bags which travels almost everywhere and are often kepy on floors are thereby the secret offenders. We are meant to further know that the less obvious places are actually where should target to keep clean at all times.
"Few of us have time to clean everything we should every week but ignore these everyday items at your peril". It said.
It would interest you to know that, other breeding areas include toothbrush bristles which allows bacteria to accumulate from the owners mouth and air borne germs from the nearby toilet. Experts therefore suggests and recommends that instead of putting your hand bags on the floor in restaurants,toilet cubicles or vehicle train floors ,you hang it on a hook or door handle.
Likewise,you should always close the toilet seat before flushing and soak toothbrush heads in mouthwash for a maximum of 15 minutes to keep them sterilised and clean.
