HURRAY!...as "Kanayo O. Kanayo" Celebrates 55 Years!

Hurray!.....as Kanayo O Kanayo celebrates 55 years today. The veteran actor took to his IG page to announce his birthday and went ahead to express his unhappiness about the missing girls of the DAPCHI community in Yobe state.
The actor stated on his social page that nothing to him will be a better present for his birthday than the rescue of the missing girls as their hope is in their country for their rescue.

Born March 1, 1962 in Ahiara, Aboh Mbaise local government of Imo State. His birth name is Anayo Modestus Onyekwere but officially and best known as "Kanayo O Kanayo". He is a Nigeria actor who has starred in hundreds of movie like "Festival of Fire" The soul that Sinneth" "Lost Kingdom" "Blood against Blood"  just to name a few. He made his debut film appearance as "chief Omego" in the movie titled "Living In Bondage" which also brought Nollywood to limelight.
Kanayo won the African Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a leading role in 2006. Aside becoming an actor,Kanayo would have been a lawyer as he disclosed this in one of his interviews when asked if he wasn't an actor what would he had been.

Kanayo O Kanayo is married to his beloved wife Nneka Onyekwere and blessed with beautiful children,a girl and two boys; all happily living together.

Governor Ganduje Ask Fulani Herdsmen To Relocate To Kano; Says There Is "Vast Grazing Land In Kano".

Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state has urged Fulani herdsmen who are in other parts of Nigeria to relocate to Kano state. According to the governor, he said Kano state has a "vast grazing land" that would cater for needs of herdsmen and their cattle. Governor Ganduje spoke during the state exercise which was titled, 'Towards Conservation Of Livestock Resources And Animal Protein For Citizens Of Kano' the exercise was part of activities marking 2017/2018 livestock vaccination programme. He thereby condemned the "recent killings during the clashes between farmers and herdsmen" he said the killings were unacceptable. Ganduje further stated that as part of his state government's commitment to encourage herdsmen in the state, there is provision of facilities that would accommodate the herdsmen and their cattle to discourage them from moving to other states in search of grazing land.
