Charly Boy Gives Daughter's Hand Out In Marriage.

Charles Oputa popularly known as 'Charley Boy' called on all to rejoice and thank God for the Oputa's family as he gave out his daughter's hand in marriage.

Charles Oputa gave out his daughter's hand -Adaeze Oputa - in marriage to Steve Metu Anu.

The groom,Steve Metu Anu hails from Ezumoha autonomous community of Isiala Mbano in Imo state; he's from the family of Jerry and Lady Uchenna Anu.

The traditional wedding ceremony was held at the Bride's father's residence at the 6th Avenue Galadinma Gwarimpa Estate,the reception followed at Evelyn Marque which is an event centre in the estate.

In attendance to the event were; former Minister of Education - Oby Ezekwesili;
former Chairman Governing Board NECO - Paddy Njoku; former Minister of Youth and Sport - Idi Hong; Nollywood actors, Nkem Owoh(Osuofia) and others.
The 99 years old mother of Charly Boy - Mrs Margarete Oputa was also present for the wedding ceremony of her grand daughter.

Father of the bride; Charles Oputa prayed for the couple with much emotions in Ibo language and urged them to live in harmony with each other.


Former Minister of Education - Oby Ezekwesili who supervised the cutting of the cake by the couple also urged the couple to live a credible life worthy of emulation,she also said that the marriage Union has made them a destiny partners.

The hall of the event was filled with guest, to a point there were no seats for some of the guest to sit nevertheless that did not deprive them from having fun as the two master of ceremony - Nkem Owoh and Francis Duru entertained the guests with funny jokes.
