Police Arrest Muslim Cleric With Human Parts In Lagos State.

The police on Tuesday,January 16 2018 has arrested one Alfa Kayode Abdul-Fatai; a Muslim cleric. He was arrested at No.4 Okedumola street,Off Obadore area of Alakuko,Lagos.

The Muslim cleric was said to have been found with human parts - female private parts and heart - in his room.

Acting on a tip - off and investigations by the officers in the command, the Muslim cleric was arrested.

The Lagos state Public Relations Officer,SP Chike Oti said that the suspect,during interrogation, revealed that the said human parts were given to him by an accomplice who has also been rounded up.

Further more,SP Oti said the suspect and the accomplice would be charges to court at the end of its investigation.

Oti, further stated that the Commissioner of Police,Imohimi Oluwole Edgal urged the members of the public to be very vigilant and embark on 'Operation Know Your Neighbour' because the Alfa was staying in a compound without his neighbours knowing his source of livelihood.

Governor Ganduje Ask Fulani Herdsmen To Relocate To Kano; Says There Is "Vast Grazing Land In Kano".

Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state has urged Fulani herdsmen who are in other parts of Nigeria to relocate to Kano state. According to the governor, he said Kano state has a "vast grazing land" that would cater for needs of herdsmen and their cattle. Governor Ganduje spoke during the state exercise which was titled, 'Towards Conservation Of Livestock Resources And Animal Protein For Citizens Of Kano' the exercise was part of activities marking 2017/2018 livestock vaccination programme. He thereby condemned the "recent killings during the clashes between farmers and herdsmen" he said the killings were unacceptable. Ganduje further stated that as part of his state government's commitment to encourage herdsmen in the state, there is provision of facilities that would accommodate the herdsmen and their cattle to discourage them from moving to other states in search of grazing land.
